Work Days!
Posted by: | CommentsMI-TF1 will be holding “Equipment Work Days” on June 21, 22, & 23 at our Mobilization Center (warehouse) from 0930-1530 hours. These “Work Days” will allow us to clean and square away our equipment and fleet which were used during our mobilization exercise. For any on-duty firefighters, back-fill is available for your department if they choose to send you to the work detail.
During this time we will be preparing for the upcoming Media Day, which is being held on June 24th (NOTE: Back-Fill is NOT available for the Media Day event.)
For any members that have not yet been sized for gear, we will have gear available for sizing. We will also try to complete fit testing for any members that have not been tested (as long as we can get the equipment and someone to do the testing).
Attending one of these days will give you credit for one of the required annual work details.
PLEASE REPLY TO THIS BY FRIDAY, JUNE 18TH.
(Please note which day you would like to attend.)
You can reply by emailing me at rgreen@independencefire.us or call me at 248.632.2717 (feel free to leave a message if I do not answer).
Thanks again for your continued participation,
